WATCH: Sophie Monk breaks down about finding love

Everyone is eagerly waiting her upcoming season of The Bachelorette and it looks as though it’s going to be a rollercoaster of emotions for Sophie Monk.

In a new promo for the new season of the hit show - which you can watch above - the self-confessed “massive bogan” tears up to camera as she talks about wanting to find someone to love her.

“Living in LA for 10 years, I’ve dated actors and rockstars,” Sophie says in the video. “I think they’ve fallen in love with my image, not with me.”

The 37-year-old goes on to admit the roles she has previously played are “quite sexy and promiscuous” many people think she’s like that, but that’s not the case which is “why [she] attracts the wrong guys”.

“I’m so lucky to do what I do but the one thing you do sacrifice is a really healthy, good relationship,” the star says to camera right before she tears up. “That’s one thing I regret, is I feel like I chose my career and you can’t really have both.”

“I’m just here because I want to find a good man, that I think would be a good father, and just someone that loves me,” she honestly admitted as the star holds back the tears.

The radio personality was previously engaged Good Charlotte’s Benji Madden but the pair broke up in 2008.

She was also engaged to Jimmy Esebag but the couple broke up in 2011.
