MAFS' Sharon Marsh shares confronting surgery photos

Married At First Sight contestant Sharon Marsh has shared some confronting images to her Instagram account of her rhinoplasty procedure she had back in July in Bangkok, Thailand.

The 32-year-old posted the snaps on Wednesday with the comment, “If there was something about your body that for many years made you feel insecure... and you got the opportunity to change it. Would you?”

The reality star continued, “Surgery is a big step to take and something I didnt consider lightly. For 10 years I was self conscious about my side profile until i took the leap with @restoredbeautygetaways.”

Sharon confessed to her Instagram followers that she had joined a group tour to Thailand with other ladies going through a similar surgery process and that she was very happy with her end results.

It comes after Sharon jetted off to Thailand the day after she announced her split from Nick Furphy back in July.

And she wasn’t there to lie on a beach; she flew there to get a nose job by Restored Beauty Getaways.

The MAFS star confessed that she’s had an issue with her nose for the past 10 years.

What pushed her to go through with the rhinoplasty surgery was seeing it side-on on the reality show, according to Woman’s Day.

Sharon also received some horrible comments “about the size of [her] nose” and reading them “just reaffirmed [her] long-term desire to get it fixed”.

“I always thought I had the same nose as my [identical] twin sister Michelle,” the 32-year-old told the magazine.

“But hers is fine. Mine had a hump and it looked huge on TV,” Sharon added.

She did admit she feels “vain” having got the procedure done but is now elated with her new “hump-free” nose.

Even though Sharon jetted to Thailand for her nose job that didn’t stop her from soaking up her surroundings and enjoying some “me” time after her split.

Sharon and Nick called time on their nine-month relationship after meeting on this year’s Married At First Sight.

It was the blonde beauty who ended things after moving from Perth to Melbourne to be with Nick because she didn’t feel "quite right".

Speaking to New Idea, the 32-year-old said: “I love Nick, but after moving to Melbourne eight weeks ago to be with him, I soon realised I’m not in love with him.”

Nick was apparently left devastated by Sharon’s confession after she told him she “wanted to feel more”.

Sharon may be unlucky with love, but at least she got the nose she always dreamed of.
