Bachelorette Sophie's parents get a 'rude' shock

He snagged himself the first solo date and the first kiss with Sophie Monk on The Bachelorette.

But it turns out Jarrod Woodgate has a whole other side to him and doesn’t give the best first impression to Sophie’s parents on the show this week.

According to Woman’s Day, Jarrod’s “Mr Nice Guy” persona isn’t all that it seems.

Sophie’s parents, Sandi and Andrew, are due to go undercover this week on the show and he doesn’t seem to have put his best foot forward.

“He got really angry about having an older lady as the driver on one group date,” a source told the publication. “But it turns out it was Sophie’s mum!”

Awkward.

The source also revealed to mag that Jarrod can “get pretty nasty after a few drinks” and has “rubbed [some of] the boys up the wrong way”.

After their single date reached new heights, Sophie and Jarrod shared a cute pash and the 37-year-old even said she could see herself “being with him” just after the first date.

Oh how quickly things can change…
