Sophie Monk’s friend slams ‘mean girls’ criticising her and Stu
Sophie Monk was hiding out in Thailand for a month so she didn’t spoil the ending of The Bachelorette with her best friend Oscar Gordon.
Oscar has now spoken out in defence of his best friend over “mean girls” branding her relationship with Stu Laundy as “fake”.
Em Rusciano, Meshel Laurie and Kate Langbroek have all spoken out about Sophie and Stu’s relationship over the last week saying that the couple are not actually together.
Oscar wrote on Twitter: “Four women in media very opinionated over @sophiemonk’s relationship! Can we not just show happiness for her new found happiness? #meangirls (sic).”

Radio host Em added her voice to the hordes expressing doubt that the romance between the pair is real.
Speaking on her 2DayFM show earlier today, Em told listeners she doesn’t think “there is a skerrick of romance between the two of them”.
The 38-year-old thought Sophie “looked uncomfortable and cagey” when she appeared on The Project with Stu last week.
“I think Sophie Monk has got exactly what she wanted to get out of this show,” she told her co-host, Harley Breen. "I think she’s played everyone and I salute that and I high five Sophie Monk.”
KIIS FM host took to Instagram on Friday evening, sharing a screenshot of the couple on The Project, along with a caption reading: "She hates him. #bachelorette #poorsophie #itsdone #theproject".
What is going on with Sophie and Stu? They should be in the honeymoon period all over each other, not fighting off split rumours.
