Alec Baldwin strips down as Donald Trump in SNL shower skit

Alec Baldwin's new Saturday Night Live sketch sees him playing a near-naked Donald Trump in an awkward shower scene. Watch below.

Co-starring with Alex Moffat, who played Paul Manafort, this shower gets ice-cold after "Trump" quizzes his own campaign supporter "Paul" about his loyalty.

"I brought you in the shower to make sure you weren’t wearing a wire, Paul," he says in the scene.

"That's why we are going to do this 'Gone Girl' style," he continues, referring to the famous scene where a couple strip in the shower to be sure neither is wearing a wire.

"Mr President I would never do that with you," Paul replies.

"That's what she said," Trump says in return. 'Like a whole bunch of "she's" have said that. Speaking of which, what an idiot that Harvey Weinstein is.

“He could have gotten away with all of it if only he had gotten elected president."

The skit comes after Alec's strange social media meltdown which saw him suspend his Twitter account after an online war with a Twitter user.

The social media backlash towards the actor started when he made comments about the Harvey Weinstein case in an interview with PBS NewsHour posted on Friday.

"You heard the rumor that Harvey raped Rose McGowan," Baldwin said. "You heard that over and over, and nothing was done. We’ve heard that for decades and nothing was done."

"Well nobody said anything," the interviewer interjected.

Alec responded with, “Well but what happened was Rose McGowan took a payment of $100,000 and settled her case with him. It was for Rose McGowan to prosecute that case.”

A fan hit back with a tweet;

Alec's account is suspended after he shared the below statement.

“It was never my intention, in my public statements, to ‘blame the victim’ in the many sexual assault cases that have emerged recently,” he said in a series of tweets. “I simply posited that the settlement of such cases certainly delayed justice. … my heart goes out to all such victims. My goal is to do better in all things related to gender equality. Au revoir.”
