Kyle Sandilands 'knows exactly' who stole from Sophie Monk
Sophie Monk recently revealed she lost "nearly everything" when someone close to her pilfered her cash.
Now shock-jock Kyle Sandilands has waded in on the debate, saying he "knows exactly" who betrayed the reality star and admitted it has happened to him too.
Discussing Sophie's awful revelation on his KIIS FM brekkie show with Jackie O, the 46-year-old explained that being in the public eye could make you a target.
"This is what happens, (a) similar thing happened to me," Kyle said. "When you don't keep your eyes on your finances, people get a hold of your money."
"And if you don't keep an eye on it, other people start running around and thinking it's their money to spend," he added.
Kyle, who is in a relationship with model Imogen Anthony, went on to reveal that he knew who had stolen from his mate, Sophie, 37.
"I know exactly who it is, who has taken (it) upon themselves to think they can take what they like," he said, live on air. "Hers would have been into the hundreds of thousands for someone like her - mine ran into the millions. I was so spewing."
Sophie had told news.com.au that she gave "too much" responsibility to a friend who fleeced her out of "hundreds of thousands" of dollars.
"Someone ripped off all my money," she said, describing the theft, before explaining it forced her to move home from LA and in with her parents who live in the Gold Coast.
Thankfully she's managed to rebuild her career back home after finding love on The Bachelorette.
She's just been announced as the host of Love Island Australia.
