More Craig McLachlan sexual harassment allegations emerge

Two more people have come forward with sexual harassment allegations against Australian actor Craig McLachlan as McLachlan continues to deny all allegations of misconduct.

An actor and a crew member of local show The Doctor Blake Mysteries, claim the 52-year-old actor behaved inappropriately on set.

Now the production company behind the show, December Media, has confirmed an independent investigation is now underway.

According to ABC, one allegation made by a male crew member who worked on the show in late 2016, is that McLachlan "held a banana to his crotch and thrust it into the faces of an actress and a director".

The crew member also claims they saw McLachlan treating a female crew member inappropriately, "humping her like a dog".

McLachlan has also been accused of telling that same crew member who offered to get him a drink, "I'd prefer a hand job".

Meanwhile an actor who was an extra on the show back in 2013, says they saw McLachlan thrust his crotch into a female crew member, before making a lewd comment.

Earlier this week December Media had stated they had not received any complaints in regards to McLachlan's behaviour.

But the ABC reports that a letter from the company's chief executive Stuart Menzies on Friday read: "If these allegations are substantiated, this points to a serious breakdown in the adherence to the policies and procedures that December Media has in place".

The show's production has been put on hold.

More claims emerged earlier this week, alleging McLachlan indecently assaulted women by touching them from backstage and behind sets.

Home and Away actress Erika Heynatz, Angela Scundi and Christie Whelan Browne have all spoken out against him.

Christie's claims that McLachlan pulled up her underwear and kissed her buttocks whilst only she was visible on stage have an eerie similarity.

More recent claims come from a runner on a TV drama, who said McLachlan made lewd remarks about her breasts while she was driving him to the airport in 2008.

A tanning salon worker also came forward and said Craig kissed her without her permission in 2004.

The producers of the Rocky Horror Show have apologised for their handling of sexual misconduct claims against star Craig McLachlan, after more cast members have come forward with claims about bullying and intimidation.

The Australian actor strenuously denies all allegations of sexual assault.
