JLaw reflects on that awkward Oscars fall
We all remember the lovely Jennifer Lawrence at the 2013 Oscars when she totally stacked it on stage going to accept her award.
Well, now the actress has reflected on that awkward moment admitting she'd do anything to go back and change it.
The 27-year-old opened up about the mishap during an interview with Howard Stern on Wednesday.
“I would give anything to be able to go back and redo that moment," JLaw said.
It wasn't just that the fall was embarassing, but because the mishap caused her to forget her acceptance speech.
"The fall startled me and made me forget my speech and made me forget to thank important people,” she said.
So much so, she forgot to thank the director of Silver Linings Playbook, the movie she won the Academy Award for Best Actress for.
“It was a big moment, I might not ever get up there again, and I didn’t thank David O. Russell when I wouldn’t have a career if it weren’t for him," JLaw explained.
She didn't even thank a single person from the movie because she was so startled, mentioning someone entirely different instead.
"I didn’t thank anyone from the movie - I wished a random person happy birthday, then stumbled off,” she recalled.
It's all part of a learning curve JLaw, and despite what you may want to change, we love you for your #awks fall.
