Meet Australia's newest Bachelorette

Step aside Sam Frost, Australia's newest Bachelorette has been unveiled.

Media personality Georgia Love has been picked to star in the latest series of The Bachelorette where she is hoping she'll meet the man of her dreams.

The 29-year-old is a TV news reporter from Hobart who has previously worked as a dance teacher and trapeze artist.

Friends of the bubbly star say that Georgia is perfect for the role.

"Georgia’s been unlucky in love, but she’s a hopeless romantic," a friend told New Idea magazine.

"The main issue she has had is moving around so much for work interstate and internationally, so it has been really hard to maintain close relationships and open herself up to guys, because chances are she will be off again in a year or so."

Georgia will follow in the footsteps of Australia's first Bachelorette, Sam Frost, who is currently loved up with Sasha Mielczarek after meeting him on the series.
