Another former supermodel is questioning Kendall and Gigi's supermodel titles

We were pretty shocked when former model Rebecca Romijn said last April that Kendall Jenner and Gigi Hadid “are not true supermodels” but now it looks like she's not alone, as another 90's supermodel apparently agrees with her.

Stephanie Seymour, who dominated billboards, magazine covers and runways in the 90's told Vanity Fair at the amfAR Inspiration Gala in New York that she questions Kengi's status as supermodels and would prefer if they were called "b*****s of the moment".

“They are completely different than we were,” she said.

Kendall and Gigi have copped it from yet another former supermodel.

“Supermodels are sort of the thing of the past. They deserve their own title. [Kendall and Gigi] are beautiful girls, and I support all of them, but they need their own title.”

When asked what she thinks their titles should be Seymour laughed: “B*****s of the moment, that would be a good title for them."

However while Rebecca Romijn and Seymour may be speaking out about the 20 and 21-year-old supermodels Miranda Kerr and Cindy Crawford have their backs.

Crawford made a point of posing with Jenner at the Met Gala, adding afterwards that she thought it was great today’s models had social media to bolster their careers.

"I'm so jealous, because I feel they have this direct way to communicate with their audience that my generation didn't have," Crawford told Cosmopolitan.

"I think it's a responsibility, but it's also a great tool, because they really can be their own publicists. They can present themselves the way that they want to be presented."

Kerr also jumped to the girl’s defence at the Met Gala, telling the NY Daily News of Romijin's comments, “That’s not very nice. They work hard just like everyone else.”
