Drop everything: Golden Gaytime burgers are here

Just when you thought the Golden Gaytime had given all it had to give, everyone’s favourite ice cream has been reimagined in what could be its most epic form yet – a delicious caramel ice cream burger.

Sydney dessert food truck Kayter con are the brains behind this incredible concoction which sees the signature honeycomb ice cream sandwiched between a brioche bun and drizzled with caramel sauce.

There’s only one catch: the food truck will be serving this insane food mashup on the 12th and 13th of November at Bella Vista Farm.

“Sydney, drop what you're doing. We're bringing you the Gaytime Icecream Burger!” Kayter con write on their Facebook page.

While they're a childhood staple, the Golden Gaytime has been in the spotlight lately thanks to some epic creations - and it seems the craze continues unabated (thank goodness) with this latest makeover.

From golden crumb-laden doughnuts to the amazingly named Gaynetto, it's been a golden time for Gaytime fans.

But while most people have understandably lost their minds over the latest burger hybrid, there’s been others who haven’t been so open to the idea.

“No - this is all wrong - stick to the original,” writes one user on the Kayter con Facebook page.

“It looks delicious... But I'm reluctant to try one...” adds another.

Never fear – if the Gaytime isn't your thing, the lovely enablers at Kayter con are also selling fried Oreos this weekend as well…
