Kate channels Princess Diana during visit to Sweden
Kate Middleton stunned on day two of her royal tour of Sweden on Wednesday.
This time she wore a buttoned, double-breasted red and white houndstooth coat by Catherine Walker.
The coat, which featured an oversized print and large red buttons coyly concealed the pregnant Duchess’s growing bump.
Kate paired the coat with burgundy pumps, a chic Chanel calfskin bag and an Alexander McQueen dress.
The houndstooth drew comparison to the late Princess Diana — she wore a similar pattern while attending Princess Eugenie’s Christening at Sandringham in 1990.
Kate kept her locks loose and carefree, a stark difference from Tuesday night where she styled her hair in a chic updo and donned a stylish Erdem dress during a black-tie dinner with Swedish prime Minister Stefan Löfven and his wife, Ulla Löfven.
The floor-length yellow floral Erdem retails for about £1,945 ($3,394.65 CAD) and is a bit out of the Princess’s comfort zone.
Kate typically opts for pale, classic shades, and it was rare to see her wearing such a bright print - but it has quickly become a new favourite by fashion critics.
The royal couple will visit Oslo, Norway later this week - we can’t wait to see what the Duchess will wear next!
