Kate wrangling her two kids at a polo match is all of us
While yesterday we saw the royal family in all their glory on the balcony at Buckingham Palace, we’ve now been given a glimpse into a much more relatable family day out.
The Duchess of Cambridge surprised royal fans when she took Prince George and Princess Charlotte to watch dad Prince William compete for the Maserati Royal Charity Polo Trophy at the Beaufort Polo Club on Sunday.
And while sitting in the grass wearing a $70 Zara dress, and wrangling her two kiddies playing in the sun, Kate Middleton has never been more relatable.
Kate attending the event was a surprise, so fans were delighted when she joined the match with George and Charlotte, sitting with cousin-in-law Autumn Phillips, who brought her children as well.
Of course Princess Charlotte stole the show as she decided to do a headstand in the grass, leaving her mum giggling.
George, who was a little more shy, looked like he was having fun learning how to play with a slinky and playing with a toy gun.
And of course mum Kate was on it when Charlotte tried to do a runner, grabbing her by the back of the dress, or even chasing her down the hill in heels.
Both mum and kids looked happy to be relaxing in the park the day after the annual Trooping the Colour parade.
The event brought much of the royal family and thousands of spectators to Buckingham Palace and saw the young brother and sister duo made their appearance on the balcony with the rest of the family.
Prince William and Kate Middleton’s third child, Prince Louis, was noticeably absent from Saturday’s event and Sunday’s outing.
At just under two months old, people are anticipating his official debut, which will most likely be at his christening.
The charity polo match helped raise funds and awareness for two charities, the Royal Marsden, which the Duke supports as president, and Centrepoint, of which he is patron.
