Cheese can help you live longer!

Research conducted by Nature Medicine suggests eating cheese can actually lengthen your lifespan.

According to the study – which was done using mice and rats - a compound found in some cheeses (known as spermidine) can help you live longer.

But that’s not the only good news.

The study also uncovered that spermidine has cardioprotective properties and can reduce the thickening of the heart muscle AND prevent abnormal pumping rhythm.

But before you overindulge on Brie, it’s important to note that only aged cheeses contain spermidine, including Cheddar, Gruyere, Gouda and Parmesan.
