Her fiancé Prince Harry is known for his love of a party, and now Meghan Markle's hens night details have been revealed – and insiders say she’s determined to see off single life with a bang.

Meghan is set to wed Prince Harry in May, and with the location and dress designer already locked in, attentions have turned to other fun celebrations in the lead-up to her big day.

Forget a big boozy bachelorette party in Las Vegas though, Meghan, who admits she’s a big fan of red wine, will be gathering her nearest and dearest for a very private celebration.

Guest are tipped to include her long-time friends Lindsay Jill Roth, who had Meghan as her maid of honour at her wedding, and Jessica Mulroney, who is designing the star's wedding dress.

Interestingly, the American actress, who only recently relocated from her home in Toronto where she lived while filming Suits, has decided to have her celebrations in her new hometown.

"Think low-key, think somewhere out of London, good food and drink, a little music,” a royal insider told Us Weekly.

"It won't be wild. She wants it to be a celebration of friendship and love.”

That doesn’t mean Meghan isn’t open to suggestions about her hens party, with Welsh fan Anne Daley talking about options with the bride-to-be during a public event over the weekend.

“I asked her if she would like to come on a hen night around the nightspots of Cardiff, and she said she'd love to,” said Anne.

"It was overwhelming. She was so beautiful and kind."
