Turia has been sharing her pregnancy journey on social media and her blog, and said she was 'frothing to meet you Baby Hoskin', just a couple of days ago.

She also explained on her blog, that she wasn't nervous about giving brith, but rather trying to 'reframe' the way she looked at birth, so that she could see it in an empowering way.

"With any big change approaching," she wrote, "There’s a certain element of uncertainty. And when you know that you’re going to experience pain, that can be pretty scary.

"But I’m not looking at it that way."

The author and motivational speaker said she used the same technqiue when approaching the multiple surgeries she had to undergo after she suffered horrific burns to over 60 percent of her body as a result of becoming trapped in a fire while running a marathon in 2011.

"I write a list of all the bad things that could happen – it’s going to hurt, I don’t know if I can do it, what if I can’t handle the pain," she said.

"Then I write a list of all the good things – how grateful I am to still be here, to have a beautiful partner like Michael, and to get to experience this. How cool it will be to meet my son.

"Then I’ve got a choice how I look at it. I could look at it in the negative way, or the empowering way."
