‘Barbie’ mum saves $33k for daughter, 12, to have boob job
Has 33-year-old Kerry Miles taken her obsession with Barbie too far?
The Essex mum, who has spent $165k to transform herself into a real-life Barbie, has saved up a whopping $33k so her 12-year-old daughter can have cosmetic surgery if she wants.
Although Kerry has saved up thousands, her tomboy daughter Bethaney remains disinterested.
“Bethaney says she’d never do it, but I always said that when I was a kid as well – never say never,” Kerry told The Sun.
“I’ve got money put aside in case she ever changes her mind and wants to do it – if she wants a boob job, lipo, anything like that then I’ll pay for her to have it done.”
Kerry began having surgeries six years ago because she was sick of her “plain and boring” look.
Since then, the Barbie wannabe has had a boob job, regular lip fillers and Botox, plus she has hair extensions, wears fake tan, has her teeth whitened and regularly gets a mani/pedi to maintain her look.
Despite Kerry’s fixation upon looking like her favourite childhood doll, she insists she’s not putting any pressure on her daughter to follow in her footsteps.
“Of course I think Bethaney’s beautiful already, but I know how much happier having surgery made me and I want her to have that opportunity,” she says.
“But whatever she decides, they think it’s a good idea to have money put aside for her – she can do whatever she wants with it, within reason.”

Bethaney herself said looking like Barbie isn’t exactly high up on her agenda.
“I don’t think I’d consider having my mum’s look for myself, but she does look pretty,” she revealed.
