Melania Trump gets upstaged by K-pop star

Having the opportunity to meet a sitting first lady is a very special occasion, but it’s nowhere near as exciting as meeting a K-pop star.

At least that’s what Melania Trump discovered in a rather awkward encounter during her diplomatic visit to South Korea.

America’s first lady was greeting high school students in Seoul when a couple of the girls completely lost it.

The moment Melania realises they only care about the man standing next to her.

Video footage of the moment sees Melania smiling at the girls when one of them nudges the other to turn around because mega K-pop star Choi Min-ho, from the band SHINee, is standing behind them.
