Camilla 'fuming' pregnant Kate is set to become Queen
She may have her hands full right now with two children under five and being pregnant with her third child, however, things are about to get a lot busier for Kate Middleton.
According to Woman's Day, Queen Elizabeth is likely to abdicate and hand over the throne to Prince William and Kate Middleton in the next few months – meaning Kate would still be pregnant when she becomes Queen.
However, there’s one person in particular who is less than impressed at the turn of events and she’s letting her feelings be known.
A palace insider claims Camilla is livid that Kate and Wills have overstepped the mark and will take the throne from Prince Charles, who is the rightful heir.
“Camilla has told Charles to ‘man up and fight’,” a royal source told Woman’s Day.
“She’s fuming and has told him it was his destiny to be on the throne.”
Meanwhile Kate can’t understand her mother-in-law’s anger towards her, claiming the Queen’s decision has nothing to do with her.
The royal drama seems to have been dragging on for a while now, with New Idea reporting in August that there was a feud brewing between Camilla and Kate.
“Camilla is livid that William could potentially take the throne – and she’s pointing the finger of blame firmly on poor Kate,” an insider told the publication.
Just a few weeks before that, the Queen reportedly held a ‘trial coronation’ for Wills and Kate at a lavish state dinner to welcome the King and Queen of Spain to Kensington Palace.
It was a lavish affair, with the Queen, the Duchess of Cambridge and the Duchess of Cornwall all donning their finest garments on the night.
Kate Middleton was spotted looking nervous at the dinner in a stunning, blush pink, lace Marchesa gown matched with Diana's beloved pearl-encrusted tiara.
The Queen also dug out her glad rags for the event, donning the aquamarine necklace she was gifted on her own coronation with a matching tiara.
And while Kate and William dodged photographers on the night, it's thought the Queen made sure all eyes were on them.
