Family Christmas card goes viral for the most relatable reason

A family Christmas card is going viral and it’s just about the most relatable thing on the Internet right now.

Emily Seawright from California, is the epitome of that time in your life when everyone around you is settling down while you’re still spending late nights on the couch with your rescue cat.

One of the 20-year-old’s sister is newly engaged, while the other is pregnant with her second child. And Emily? Well, she’s just being Emily.

In their viral card, she’s seen lining up next to her parents who hold a sign saying ‘excited’, her sister and future brother-in-law who are ‘engaged’ and her older sister with her husband and daughter who are ‘expecting’. And then there’s ‘Emily’.

The hashtag ‘IAmEmily’ started circulating on Twitter the minute the image was shared.

Emily told Buzzfeed she thought the card would be good for a giggle.

“We all have the same sense of humour and thought it would be a funny idea to do," she explained. "We thought it would be funny to just put my name."
