Donald Trump gets own birthday wrong on New York election vote

Knowing your own birth date is one of those things that’s just ingrained into your memory – but not for Donald Trump, it appears.

The POTUS somehow managed to get his own birthday wrong on his absentee ballot application for the New York mayoral election last month.

For Trump, who was a resident of the Big Apple before making his move to Washington, the paperwork clearly got the best of him.

While officials initially accepted the 71-year-old’s application, it wasn’t until the New York Daily News pointed out that the President’s birthday was actually June 14, and not July as was entered on his paperwork.

Trump wasn’t the only one in his family who botched their ballot papers.

While Donald’s wife Melania managed to submit a correct application, her actual vote was declared ineligible after she accidentally put her county as ‘USA’ rather than ‘New York’ and forgot to sign her envelope.

Trump’s daughter Ivanka didn’t fare much better, sending in her ballot too late to be counted.

It’s not the first time Trump’s confusion has made headlines.

In May, he baffled the world when tweeted the word 'covfefe' to his millions of Twitter followers.
