Donald Trump and Melania’s bizarre nightly routine revealed
Donald Trump and Melania apparently have separate bedrooms in the White House, a new book has claimed.
The explosive insight into the daily life at the White House was written my Michael Wolff, who was given unprecedented access for research and did over 200 interviews.
Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House claims that Donald Trump often goes to be at 6:30pm and he and Melania have separate bedrooms - the first to do so since John and Jackie Kennedy.
Already dubbed as "a work of fiction" by Trump, the book claims the President demanded a key to his bedroom, locking his wife and the secret service out.
He does this so that he can binge on cheeseburgers in bed while watching three televisions and ranting about the media to his friends, Wolff claims.
“If he was not having his 6:30 dinner with Steve Bannon, then, more to his liking, he was in bed by that time with a cheeseburger, watching his three screens and making phone calls - the phone was his true contact point with the world - to a small group of friends, who charted his rising and falling levels of agitation through the evening and then compared notes with one another,” Wolff wrote.
It’s no secret that Trump has a love for fast food, as he’s often been pictured on the road snacking on McDonald’s and the like.
According to Wolff, this comes from a fear of being poisoned.
“He imposed a set of new rules: Nobody touch anything, especially not his toothbrush,” Wolff wrote.
“(He had a longtime fear of being poisoned, one reason why he liked to eat at McDonald’s - nobody knew he was coming and the food was safely premade.)”
