Meghan shows off diamond ring from Prince Harry

Wedding watchers get ready, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s big announcement could come sooner than you think following sightings of the actress wearing a gold ring given to her by her royal boyfriend.

Meghan, 35, has been seen in recent weeks with a telling bit of jewellery sitting pride of place on her hand.

“It’s a gold band and Harry gave it to her about six weeks ago,” a source told the Mail.

“She’s happily told people on set that it is from him and said it is a little too big so she is always careful not to lose sight of it.”

The band currently sits on the Suits actress’ thumb, with reports the star only takes it off during filming for her hit show.

While it might not be the dazzling engagement bling we’ve all been keeping our eyes peeled for, insiders say the ring is a huge step in the right wedding direction for Prince Harry.

“He has given all his girlfriends love tokens, especially bracelets,” the source adds.

“But giving Meghan a ring is quite a serious upgrade from beaded bracelets. Meghan takes it off for filming but rushes to put it back on afterwards.”

It’s not the only piece of Harry-related jewellery Meghan sports.

She also has a $8400 Cartier love bracelet, as well as a necklace with the letters ‘H’ and ‘M’, and a gold arrow ring with Harry’s initials on it.

Sources say the Meghan mixes up which jewellery she wears to send subtle messages to her long distance love.
