Girl's viral post-breakup skydiving Tinder match story

When her boyfriend dumped her the week of his birthday, Emma Vowell wasn’t going to let the skydiving tickets she’d bought for him go to waste.

So the 19-year-old college student from Indiana did the most logical thing to turn her heartbreak into opportunity, and posted an ad for the tickets on dating app Tinder.

“Interesting story, my ex broke up with me the week of his birthday, so now I awkwardly have 2 skydiving tickets above the Chicago skyline that expire in November," her bio ad reads.

“Deadass just looking for a hot guy to go with instead.”

She quickly received a flood of messages but one ‘submission’ by 22-year-old Austin really stood out.

After sending Emma a message asking what he would need to do to be able to go skydiving with her, he proceeded to put together a hilarious resume complete with cover letter applying for the vacant position by her side.

“Dear Ms Emma, I recently saw your advertisement on the dating application Tinder and am very interested in filling the position you had listed,” his note begins.

A fellow student at the same college, Austin goes on to talk about his Jeep, his dog and that he’s a certified personal trainer.

Sharing the response to Twitter, her story soon went viral, with the general public giving Austin a resounding tick of approval.

After that Emma gave Austin the good news and the pair met up for the first time for coffee last week. They plan to go skydiving together on October 28.
