Mel B lets slip the Spice Girls will reunite for the royal wedding

Mel B has appeared to confirm that the Spice Girls will reform and perform at the royal wedding.

The 42-year-old made an appearance on US talk show The Real yesterday, where she let slip that every single one of the girls got an invite to the May 19th nuptials.

When asked whether or not the girls would be performing at the reception, Mel smiled and threw her notes up into the air as the audience screamed in delight.

“Do you know anybody that you think is gonna go to this wedding” one of the hosts asked, with Mel shyly saying “Yeah, I’m going.”

After the hosts and audience reacted with clear shock, Mel backtracked a bit and said: “I don't know if I should've said that.”

When probed further, the mum-of-three said all of the girls would be showing up at Windsor on the day.

“Well us five Spice Girls... why am I so honest?” she said.

Then, after making it pretty obvious that they would be performing at the reception, Mel said: “This is where I'm just like... I need to go. I'm going to be fired.”

It comes after fans went into meltdown when the former girl band members took to Instagram at the start of February and began posting a stream of pictures together after they met up in London.

Victoria Beckham, Mel C, Geri Horner, Mel B and Emma Bunton were snapped hugging it out online, with their former manager, Simon Fuller, in tow.

Fans couldn’t contain their excitement, with many begging the former girl group to reveal whether they are reuniting or not.

“Geri suggested the Royal Wedding is a fantastic opportunity, and that they should offer to perform at the reception,” a source told The Sun about their possible reunion.

“She has been told that Meghan was a big fan of the Spice Girls.”

We can’t wait to see the royals boogying the night away to Spice Up Your Life.
