Nicole Kidman shuts down Meryl Streep feud rumours
Nicole Kidman has finally broken her silence on the rumours she’s feuding with Meryl Streep, publicly declaring her affection for the Oscar-winning actress.
It had been reported the pair were clashing since Meryl joined the second season of the multi-award winning show Big Little Lies, which earned Nic her first ever Emmy.
But in a recent post to the 50-year-old’s Instagram account, she appeared to take aim at the claims, as she wished Meryl a happy 69th birthday.

“#FBF and Happy Birthday to the divine Meryl Streep!” she wrote, alongside an adorable photo of them together at the 2003 Golden Globes.
“I have loved working with you again,” she finished.
Earlier this month an insider from the set of the hit HBO show claimed Meryl signing on to the already star-studded series – which also features Reese Witherspoon and Laura Dern — had caused “drama”.
“Everyone was so excited to work with Meryl, but in reality it caused some big drama on set,” the source told Woman’s Day.
The pair have been friends since starring together on the 2002 movie, The Hours.
Despite all the speculation surrounding their friendship, Nicole has been busy celebrating her 12th wedding anniversary with country crooner Keith Urban.
