Could Nikki Gogan replace Ali Oetjen as the next Bachelorette?

Goodness gracious, could this be true?

Rumours are circulating that Richie Strachan runner up (and fan favourite) Nikki Gogan is replacing the newest Bachelorette, Ali Oetjen.

Following fan backlash, it seems Channel 10 are considering dumping Ali after it was revealed she was the one who actually cheated in her relationship with Grant Kemp.

“Everyone was devastated for Ali,” a production insider told NW. “Reports emerged that Grant had cheated on her when he went home to LA, and after she’d had her heart broken by Tim [Robards] and her ex–fiancé Dave, it seemed like the obvious choice.”

But then, everything changed when the ‘real’ details emerged.

Grant revealed more than Ali bargained for in an explosive interview with Kyle and Jackie O.

At a house party he was throwing, Grant walked inside to find Ali with another man in a particularly compromising position – she was apparently receiving oral sex.

In an outrage, the fireman kicked Ali out of his house and told her to go back to Australia, while Ali desperately trying to reconcile with him.

Now, following these shock claims, Channel Ten reportedly have felt the pressure to reconsider.

“There’s been a lot of backlash,” the insider said. “Before Grant’s story even came out, fans were calling her boring.

“It’s a bit of a disaster!”

So are the rumours really true? Absolutely not.

Be reached out to the network for comment and received this response from a Spokesperson.

“The rumour that Ali Oetjen will be replaced by Nikki Gogan as The Bachelorette is completely false and misleading.

“Network Ten is looking forward to Ali finding love on The Bachelorette Australia later this year.”

Oh. Well there you go.
