“It’s been really hard. It’s been a shock. He was a huge part of our lives,” Maya told The Morning Show. “We’re getting through it. He was really spiritual, so we know he’s in a better place.”

Six weeks after relocating to LA, the Aussie sisters say they were handpicked to tour with him.

“When first moved to the states, our third audition was for Prince and he picked us off an audition tape. He said he just wanted the two of us,” Nandy revealed. “Six weeks in the country, we were booked with Prince for ten years.”

The girls say that their life with the late singer was “surreal” as they would fly first class and be in the VIP area of exclusive clubs.

“We were living in his purple universe, where time doesn’t exist. It was crazy,” Nandy adds.

The dancer also adds that one time Prince called her at 2am to give her some advice.

“I was in LA, it was about 2am and the phone rings,” Nandy says. “I hear someone say ‘whatever you say is true.’ It was Prince. I didn’t recognise his voice, but he told me he’d been dancing in front of the mirror in his room.”
