Reese Witherspoon congratulates BFF Nicole Kidman on Gotham Award
They both starred in Emmy winning Big Little Lies.
And while Reese Witherspoon hasn't scooped any gongs for her performance in the hit HBO show, that hasn't stopped her from being her co-star and BFF Nicole Kidman's biggest supporter.
Taking to Instagram after the 2017 Gotham Independent Film Awards where Nic was honoured with the Tribute Actress Award, Reese congratulated her Aussie co-star.
"Congrats to my girl @NicoleKidman on her #GothamAward," she wrote, alongside an image of her friend clutching her award.
Then she showed her humorous side, adding that they're "basically the same height when she takes off her heels! (So not true)" which was followed by a winking emoji.
The pair have been close friends since starring in Big Little Lies together and Reese, 41, was the person who presented Nic with the accolade.
In her speech, she affectionately referred to Nic as presented her “beautiful, soulful, talented friend" and spilled on the fact she'd been a fan of hers for years before they finally met.
Earlier this year, Nicole won the Best Lead Actress Emmy for her portrayal of Celeste in the show, something Reese had been championing for months beforehand.
“My God, can somebody just give this woman an Emmy? Reese told The Edit magazine. "I mean, please.”
These two are serious #friendshipgoals.
