Samantha Markle trolls sister Meghan on her birthday

In true Samantha Markle (Grant) fashion she has taken to Twitter to troll her half-sister Meghan Markle as she celebrated her birthday this weekend.

Rather than peacefully wishing her royal sibling a happy birthday, Samantha decided it was another good opportunity to slam Meghan for failing to contact their father, Thomas Markle Snr.

She even went so far as to calling Meghan ‘Cruella de Vil’.

“Happy Birthday Meg!” Samantha wrote on her private account. “It would be so lovely and appropriate of you to send DAD a BELATED birthday card for his July 18th [birthday] @KensingtonRoyal. Cheers!”

She also responded to news that Meghan would be retreating from the public eye, saying “OK so Cruella De vil is retreating LOL let me know how that works out for you.”

Meghan Markle, who turned 37 on Saturday, appeared to not be letting any of her family drama get to her, as she celebrated by attending the wedding of one of Prince Harry’s closest friends, looking beautiful and completely relaxed.

Samantha Grant – who conveniently changed her name back to Markle leading up to the royal wedding – has also rarely been out of the press with interviews about her half-sister since news of her engagement to Harry broke.

Samantha, who shares the same father as Meghan like Thomas, claimed in a 2016 interview with The Sun that her little sister is “narcissistic”, “shallow” and bent on “social climbing”.

Following the nuptials, Samantha Markle made headlines once again after tweeting that Prince Harry is a ‘wuss’ for allowing the Duchess to ‘mistreat everyone who has been close to her’.

“Harry is a wuss to allow the Duchess of Nonsense to mistreat everyone who has been close to her, especially her family.

“Diana would be ashamed.”

The Duchess‘s half-sister later appeared on ‘Good Morning Britain’ to defend her Twitter outbursts, saying that she is entitled to talk about her relatives – and that no one would turn down a pay check.

“We’re not subject to royal protocol. We’re entitled to share that and be open about it… If we can shed some light on issues for the public that’s great, we can enjoy the process,” she said.

“We all have to survive, money makes the world go around – if you want to call that cashing in.”
