Stick-on swimwear is the newest crazy bikini trend

Miami Swim Week is known for showcasing some of the hottest bikinis on the market.

But this year the runway event, which attracts fashion lovers from across the globe, has taken its reputation for turning up the heat to the next level, thanks to one essential household item, duct tape.

The newest racy (and arguably crazy) bikini trend to feature this year is stick-on swimwear, and it’s pretty much what it sounds like.

Last week a string of models took to the catwalk for The Black Tape Project, modelling the barely-there creations which feature not an inch of fabric, but rather strategically placed duct tape to cover the nipples and crotch.

With over 260k followers, the Black Tape Project has gathered quite a following for its sexy style of swimwear, and there seems to be some benefits to wearing stick-on swimwear, such as its ability to be tailored to your unique body shape.

But can you imagine the pain of removing these afterwards? Ouch!

One thing’s for sure, this shocking style is not for the faint-hearted.
