The Bachelor's mean girls: 'Cass lied to us all'

This season’s trio of ‘villains’ Cat Henesy, Romy Poulier and Alisha Aitken-Radburn certainly went out with a bang on last night’s episode of The Bachelor, yet it seems the drama hasn’t stopped there.

The three girls claim Australia never got to see who they truly were (a.k.a nice people apparently), and they say that watching the episodes back has undeniably been a ‘confronting’ experience for them.

However, it seems the girls also discovered another shocking revelation – fellow contestant Cassandra Wood had been keeping something from them the whole time they were in the mansion.

In a candid chat with Be, Cat, Romy and Alisha reveal that none of them had any knowledge of Cass’ past encounters with Nick ‘Honey Badger’ Cummins, so to see it on the show was quite a surprise.

“We’ve only found out watching it back that [Cass and Nick] have actually had history,” says Cat, “None of us knew, not even her friends.”

“I’m a little bit thrown by that, to be honest,” Alisha adds.

Romy agrees, “It’s because she lied to us for so long.”

The trio admits they were a little ticked off by this after making efforts to console her in the mansion and help Cass cope with being “too invested” so early on.

“We sat there with her and tried to come up with ways to help her through it and she would get quite upset… but it makes sense now because she had such invested feelings,” Romy says.

Despite this, Cat says Cass “is not a stage-five clinger,” as she’s previously been portrayed, and rather believes producers are taking advantage of her.

“She’s young and she is one to show her facial expression in any situation…I think she has been taken advantage of,” Cat admitted to Be.
