Helix eyeliner is the hot new beauty trend you need to try

Instagram has come to the rescue, with the new Helix eyeliner make-up trend taking beauty bloggers by storm.

And unlike some of the other crazy trends out there, you don't need to be a super skilled beauty guru to give it a go.

It looks pretty simple. Just apply black eyeliner as usual, angling it out and away from the corners of your eyes. Then, use a bright gel liner to to trace loops around the eyeliner, giving it a 3D effect. And that's it, you're done, and you've got a playful, quirky look to brighten up your eyes.

While it might not make it into your everyday make-up routine, this could definitely be one for the weekend.

And in true beauty trend form, you're only limited to your imagination. Some users have already taken their gel liners into their own hands and started experimenting with different shapes.
