David Warner supports Candice after miscarriage heartache

After Candice Warner opened up about suffering a miscarriage amidst husband David’s ball-tampering scandal, the cricketer has broken his silence, praising his courageous wife.

The 31-year-old took to Instagram gushing about how “grateful” to call Candice his wife and reflect on the “tough times” their family had been through the last couple of months.

“We as a family have been through one of the toughest times ever the last few months but nothing will ever stop us from being just us,” the cricketer captioned a photo with Candice and their two daughters – Ivy, three, and two-year-old Indi.

“My wife my rock has endured pain, disappointment, regrets in her past and so many highs and lows,” he continued, also adding, “but the courage Candice has shown in recent months is a testament to the qualities she has as a mother, person, friend and wife.

“I’m grateful everyday I get to call her my wife and my soul mate, I wouldn’t want it any other way.”

“I’d have to be bullet-proof for the taunting not to have affected me,” the 33-year-old told the publication. “It rocked my very foundation and I paid the ultimate price, losing our baby.

“I wonder how all those who came after me feel now?”
