Spice Girls are reportedly reuniting in 2018

The 90s girl band The Spice Girls are reportedly getting back together and working on a very special television show and compilation album that will be released next year.

According to British tabloid The Sun, all five of the Say You'll Be There singers will be reuniting and it's all thanks to Mel C aka Sporty Spice who has launched a campaign to get the girls back together.

“The five of them have been locked in secret talks since the summer," a source told the outlet. "And finally they are all on-board for a 2018 reunion."

The exclusive also uncovered that the five women were working on a "series of projects" together however it was difficult to get Posh on board.

“Getting Victoria to agree has been a coup for everyone involved, given she has always been the person holding back on a reunion," the insider added.

Meanwhile the whispers of a spicy reunion come after a slew of failed attempts to get the band back together according to Ginger Spice.

In an interview with Red magazine last month, Geri Halliwell admitted she tried to rekindle the band but gave up trying.

"I really pushed to get everyone back together," she said. "It got to the point where I just had to let it go. I still love the girls, and there are other bits and bobs in the pipeline.”

A recent report from TMZ has since been released that states Victoria Beckham will not be involved in any Spice Girls reunion.

So it looks like it'll be a Spice Girl party of four minus Posh. Excuse us while we all weep over this sad news.
