Report reveals details about Jim Carrey’s ex girlfriend’s tragic last days

New details about Jim Carrey’s former girlfriend Cathriona White's death have emerged, almost a year after she died.

According to an autopsy and toxicology report, obtained by PEOPLE, the 30-year-old overdosed on prescription medication soon after her relationship with Jim ended.

Four friends discovered Cathriona’s body in her home after they became concerned that she had been missing for four days according to the documents.

The friends told officers that Cathriona had “depressive qualities”. After not hearing from her for a few days - after her break up with Jim - the four went to her house hoping to cheer her up.

After receiving no answer at her front door, Cathriona’s friends entered through the unlocked side gate leading to her backyard.

The Irish beautician’s friend Dennis Bradshaw went inside her house and started looking for her and calling out her name.

"He then found her in a back bedroom in her bed, and at first, thought she might be sleeping. However, she was unresponsive to his calling out her name and he then got closer and realised she was deceased,” the report stated according to PEOPLE.

After the other friends entered the house, they found her phone and called Jim before calling 911.

A Coroner’s report obtained by Daily Mail Online stated that before her death, Jim had asked his ex where his missing painkillers were over a text message.

According to the report Cathriona had taken his anti-inflammatory pills with a cocktail pill mix to end her own life.

The make-up artist lived alone in her LA home and broke up with her Hollywood boyfriend days before the tragic event.

According to the report she was very much in love with Jim and was worried about slipping away from him. Her body was found in a red t-shirt surrounded by prescription bottles with a phone in her hand and a suicide note for Jim Carrey.
