Anna Heinrich spills on Tim Robards' quirky habits

The star from season one of The Bachelor has just been named as the ambassador for Oral-B 3D White. And it's easy to see why with her mega-watt smile! The travel enthusiast chatted to Be about tackling morning breath (ugh), travel essentials and how to master the art of taking incredible Instagram snaps.

What does your morning beauty routine involve?
I'll get up, I'll shower, and I'll try and multi-task while I'm showering so I'm going to be brushing my teeth. Then I'll moisturise my face and I usually wash my hair the day before so I'll probably style it after that. And then it's make-up time!

How do you get past the grossness of morning breath on yourself or partner?
I think you firstly have to maintain your teeth and get check-ups every six to 12 months at the dentist! I'll also use an Oral B rinse and that kills germs for up to 24 hours, so if you rinse your mouth the night before, you're not going to have really bad morning breath. A couple of year ago when I started dating Tim I started getting up super early and brushing my teeth and jumping back into bed. If you want to avoid that I'd probably use the rinse!

Does Tim have any gross or quirky habits you can tell us?
I don't think he has many gross ones... I probably wouldn't be with him if he did! But what's slightly quirky is he uses coconut oil for everything so he uses it from head to toe on his skin, he usues it his hair, he uses it cooking, he basically uses it for EVERYTHING.

You're always jetsetting to so many different spots, have you had any travel disasters?
Recently we went to Bali and there was cloud ash so we basically got stuck in Bali for an extra five days. Everyone was like, 'That's great,' but no, you have plans and you want to get home.

What are your must-have travel items?
Toothpaste, mouthwash, whitening strips... I always try and get the mini size version of the products. I also take my Dyson hairdryer so that's a lot lighter and can fit in your luggage. I always bring our Olympus camera, about four or five different lenses and the GoPro because you never know when you're going to need some underwater shots. Another thing I do is try on all my outfits before packing to make sureI'm going to wear them. And don't forget your passport!

What's Tim like as a travel buddy?
He's pretty good. He basically organises everything because if he does it, he can do it then and there straight away, but if I do it I have to consult him and go back and book it. So I'm like, 'You can organise everything' and I'm happy to just tag along. He's not very punctual and it stresses me out. I like to be at the airport probably five hours before we actually depart whereas he likes to be a couple of minutes before. We haven't missed a flight yet so you can thank me for that [laughs].

How do you stay fit when you're on vacay?
I think for us whenever we go over there, it's kind of just a given that we will be very active, we're not just sitting there. There might be a day where we want to relax and sit by the pool or chill out but mostly we're getting up and moving around. I actually probably lose weight when I go overseas. Tim brings his TRM rings and he sets them up wherever he can and we also go to the gym. Also I'm not really going to be eating ice-cream for breakfast, lunch and dinner - it's still a treat and I treat it like that.

If you could have one dish from any restaurant in the world, what would it be?
We've gone to so many amazing restaurants and there's so many times where I've been like, 'This is the best food I've ever eaten'. My dad's Hungarian and we eat a lot of Hungarian food so I really want to go back to Hungary and eat some goulash.

Are you much of a chef?
I prefer Tim to do the cooking. I do like to cook but we don't really do extravagant things at night. We normally have a piece of meat and vegetables like we never do anything too crazy. It's only when I go over to mum's that we're really splurging. I think that's why when I moved out of home and I moved in with Tim I lost a lot of weight and became more fit because I wasn't eating everything from the pantry as soon as I got home!

Your Insta pics are always so stunning! What are your tips for taking such great photos?
Get a good photographer. I've trained my mum up so if ever I've got an event, I'll go over to my mum's so she can take 100 photos and I can pick the best one. Tim knows a lot about cameras and photography but I think it's all in the lighting. If you go on Instagram, majority of my photos, probably around 90% of them, I'm smiling and I find that is extremely important. Smile more!

You have so much on your plate - attending fashion shows, travelling, your blog, working as a lawyer - how do you juggle it all?!
I think it comes down to prioritising and doing what you love. That's what makes it easier in the long run. For me I enjoy being a lawyer and doing media-related things because I love them both.
