How James Packer’s ex Kate Fischer blew $3 million

The ex-model, who split from her fiancé James Packer in 1999, was reportedly left incredibly wealthy from the settlement with the billionaire, allegedly scoring over $10 million in assets.

But now, the former actress, who has legally changed her name to Tziporah Atarah Malkah, is rumoured to have spent all of her multi-million dollar fortune.

“Tziporah sold the Bondi pad in 2000 for nearly $3 million,” a source told New Idea. “She’s down to very little.”

They added: “Sure, she lives in Toorak, which is one of the most exclusive suburbs in Melbourne – but it’s the worst property on the street.

“[It’s] very old fashioned. In the streets around are multimillion-dollar mansions. Hers is not an upscale property and nothing as flash as the Bondi beachfront unit James gave to her.”

The insider adds that Tziporah probably “lost or spent” most of the settlement she got from the tycoon.

Eighteen years ago the former model's life changed forever when she was dumped by Mariah Carey's now fiancé.

Devastated, she fled the country amid rumours of a $10 million settlement - which Kate's always denied - plus an allowance of $300k a year and the Bondi home they'd planned to live in once married.

But now, back in Oz, living a low-key life as a therapist at an aged-care facility in Melbourne, Kate has found herself in the spotlight once again.

Last week, Woman's Day published snaps of her looking worlds away from her former self, prompting the star to take to Facebook to accuse her ex of being an 'attention wh*re' who's still obsessed with her.

"The whole world knows I'm the most interesting thing that has and ever will happen to him," she wrote of her ex, who is not engaged to Mariah Carey.

"You need me to keep you in the limelight as much as possible. Pathetic. It's been 20 years James - leave me alone, enough already."

And according to a headline in the same mag, she also believes that Packer wants her back!

However, Kate insists that while it's been nice to say 'G'day' to her fans, she's now planning to slip back into anonymity and enjoy her simpler life.

"I retired from the public life close to 10 years ago," she says. "I do not grant interviews and have no interest in being in the public eye.

"I am content in most ways and appreciate my life being a private one now. Thank you for reading all of this. Shalom, peace be with you. Tziporah."
