Tessa James and Nate Myles expecting first baby

Tessa James and Nate Myles are reportedly expecting their first baby, three years after the actress bravely overcame Hodgkin's lymphoma.

After attending the David Jones spring/summer launch earlier this week in a flowing red dress, The Daily Telegraph reports the 26-year-old star and the 32-year-old NRL player are "overjoyed" at their impending bundle of joy, with the outlet adding Tessa is "around five months".

Tessa's reps Atelier Management confirmed the happy news to Be.

The couple married in 2011, with Nate sticking by Tessa's side after she was diagnosed with cancer at just age 23.

The former Home and Away star underwent chemotherapy to treat the Hodgkin's lymphoma, and last year spoke about how she had to dig deep and find inner strength to overcome the disease.

"I hit a point where I didn't know what I was doing, why I was here, what was happening, where my life was going," Tessa told the Sydney Morning Herald at the time.

"I thought I knew. I was 23, and all this bad stuff was happening. I tried to spiritually find why. I got through it because I had to get through it.

"What was the other option? To sit and feel sorry for myself? I think I had to hit that low point, to be in so much pain and so upset and so traumatised, to then have that sense of empowerment again: I can get through this."

Nate also previously gushed about his wife, recalling the time he first saw her after they were introduced by mutual friends Braith Anasta, and his then-wife Jodi Anasta back in 2009.

"She had long blonde hair and her eyes stood out like - you won't be able to write 'like t**s on a bull,' but they just stood out, mate," Nate told Daily Life.
