Paris Jackson to attend Melbourne Cup

Daughter of late music legend Michael Jackson is heading Down Under to attend the Melbourne Cup for the "race that stops the nation."

The 19-year-old has been invited by Myer and the Victoria Racing Club as a VIP guest and will enjoy Myer's Fashion On The Fields before watching the big race next Tuesday.

"I wasn’t familiar with the Melbourne Cup before the opportunity came up to attend this year," she told News Corp, "but once it was brought to my attention, I asked my Aussie friends about it and heard so many incredible things."

"It's always been a dream of mine to visit Australia," the teen continued.

And with Paris being no stranger when it comes to fashion it's no surprise Myer wanted the teenager to join in their Fashion On The Fields.

She's quickly made a name for herself in the fashion world and known on the red carpets to show off her bohemian style.
