Karl Stefanovic responds to engagement rumours

Karl Stefanovic and Yasmine Yarbrough have been the centre of engagement rumours for the last few months.

And it seems these whispers haven't quietened down with a source revealing this week the Today show host is ready to get down on one knee.

However in spite of the new engagement whispers, Karl's representative was quick to shut this down telling the outlet on Friday morning, "It's not true".

It comes after engagement rumours circulated in October last year when Woman's Day claimed Karl and Jasmine were in Los Angeles celebrating their engagement.

Sources told the publication exclusively that Karl whisked Jasmine off to Pairs, the City of Love to propose, and the pair have been trying to keep it under wraps since then.

The outlet also alleged the pair were expecting their first child together however Karl was quick to shut those down after he received a text message from radio host Kyle Sandilands from KIIS FM's Kyle and Jackie O Show asking if it were true.

The Today host responded to Kyle via text message slamming the baby rumours. Watch above.

"‘Another load of s**t from the Woman’s Day," the 43-year-old's text said. "Pretty hard to get preggers when you’re shooting blanks."

That's one way to put rumours to rest.
