Jessica Rowe 'could think of nothing worse' than Today return
Jessica Rowe has quashed rumours about her potentially returning to Today right in the bud, saying she "could think of nothing worse".
While appearing on KIIS FM's Kyle and Jackie O Show on Thursday morning, she was asked if there was any chance she could be Lisa Wilkinson's replacement.
"No, are you joking?" she said. "I could think of nothing worse, myself."
The 47-year-old told the radio duo she had "been there, done that" and "hell would freeze over" before she would resume her place next to Karl Stefanovic.
Jessica co-hosted the Nine breakfast show from 2006 to 2007.
The presenter did not have the smoothest ride while at Channel Nine and was allegedly slammed by the then-CEO Eddie McGuire.
"What are we going to do about Jessica?" Eddie reportedly said. "When should we bone her? I reckon it should be next week."
In 2015, Jessica spoke about the former Nine CEO on the show she now hosts, Studio 10.
“I don’t have a lot of good to say about that man because he made my life hell," she said.
A replacement for Lisa's seat on Today is yet to be announced.
Deborah Knight is currently co-hosting the Nine breakfast show with Karl.
