House Rules 'bullying' between judges outrages fans

The controversial reality show House Rules has sent the internet into a feeding frenzy with fans accusing the show of “bullying”.

Judges Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen and Drew Heath regularly clash on the popular television series, but it seems the tension has concerned viewers.

Worried fans have a lot to say about it, with some even going as far as saying Laurence is “arrogant” and “rude”.

“I think Laurence is too rude to Drew, and needs to rein it in,” another posted. “Laurence is all about Laurence,” another one said.

“He is a very arrogant man,” one Facebook user said on the House Rules official Facebook page, while another branded him a “bully” over his behaviour.

But Drew has defended his behaviour in an interview with TV Week this week, admitting the British interior designer is just “looking for a rise.”

“He’s experienced and professional in television and I am not,” the 49-year-old judge explained.

“So I think sometimes he believes it’s kind of fun to play with me,” he added.

And although Laurence’s behaviour towards Drew has caused a stir with the viewers, he says he has no hard feelings and is there on House Rules to do a job.

“The stuff Laurence sometimes throws at me doesn’t stick,” he said.
