If you’ve got a friend or flatmate who’s constantly borrowing your clothes or copying your make-up, that’s when you should start to get worried.

I’ve had personal experience with someone going all “Single White Female” on me.

A little bit of matchy-matchy is excusable, but when it gets to the point where they’re starting to compete with you, that’s the time I don’t like it so much.

If you are good friends though, my advice is to say something – but be as gentle as possible. If you’re close enough, just be honest and tell her you’re uncomfortable. There’s ways to go about it without hurting her feelings.

No matter what happens, make sure you don’t lose your style or who you are. That’s the important thing.
