Melania Trump wears ‘naked’ dress in South Korea

Naked dresses have proved to be one of the biggest red carpet trend of 2017 – and movie stars aren’t the only ones wearing them.

While the definition of ‘naked dress’ is still open to interpretation, it encapsulates dresses that show a LOT of skin (too much to possibly wear underwear) and sheer dresses that make it look like you’re naked underneath, even when you’re not.

Jennifer Lawrence, Bella Hadid and Kylie Jenner have all been brave enough to wear them, while here in Australia, Bachelor winner Laura Byrne and TV presenter Lauren Phillips wore naked pantsuits to the Melbourne Cup.

And now US First Lady Melania Trump has added her name to the list.

The 47-year-old wore a stunning blue sequinned gown by J.Mendel to a state dinner while touring South Korea with her husband.

The top layer of the dress was completely sheer, meaning Melania needed a nude petticoat to cover her modesty.

The dinner was an elegant one, with the four-course menu including corn porridge, grilled fish, pine mushroom rice and Korean beef, according to the Daily Mail.

Melania and Donald Trump are celebrating their first year as President and First Lady, after the Republican was elected on November 8 last year.
