‘Human Ken Doll’ reveals bizarre transplant surgery
Just when you think ‘Human Ken Doll’ Justin Jedlica has had it all when it comes to plastic surgery, the cosmetic enhancement-addict surprises us yet again.
Appearing on The Morning Show to talk all things surgery, Justin shocked hosts Kylie Gillies and Larry Emdur by revealing all about his latest procedure, FUE, or
Follicular Unit Extraction.
The 37-year-old surgery addict, who has spent a whopping $840,000 on an estimated 565 cosmetic procedures explained his latest makeover was all to do with his hair.
“[FUE] is where they harvest individual hairs at the back of the head and then you can graft them to anywhere you want on the body,” said Justin.
“For me, I brought my hairline down and brought the sides in. I thickened my eyebrows, and I actually implanted sideburns.”
“When I was in my 20s I actually lasered all my facial hair off.”
Judging by Kylie and Larry’s expressions, it’s not something either of them had heard about before.
“So the eyebrows you’ve not got are from the back of your head,” asked Larry.
Known as the ‘Human Ken Doll’ thanks to his incredibly plastic looks, Justin admits he’s capitalised on his notoriety to help fund his surgeries.
From appearing on reality TV shows, to plastic surgery consultations, custom-design implants, merchandise, Ken doll candy bars, and after care kits, Justin has no problems with his lifestyle – and can’t see himself stopping any time soon.
“I could but I won’t,” he laughed.
“I love it as an art form. As an artist, you’re going to continue to create.”
Justin is currently in Australia, with hopes he can nab a last minute spot in the Mardi Gras parade happening in Sydney over the weekend.
“We're looking for spots on a fabulous float for this year's Mardi Gras after our previous float fell through a few days ago,” a friend of Justin’s posted on Facebook
“The float includes a Drag Queen and three celebrities.”
