Lisa Wilkinson has something to say about the Carrie Bickmore 'feud'
As she marks the end of her fifth month presenting on The Project, Lisa Wilkinson says she’s enjoying her new role and has very little to complain about.
But if there’s one thing the 58-year-old is not willing to let slide, it’s the rumours of a ‘feud’ with co-host Carrie Bickmore.
“It’s such rubbish,” Lisa told Be at the 2018 TV Week Logie Awards on Sunday night.
“Carrie and I have been mates for 10 years.”
Last month Woman’s Day magazine reported “there’s tension behind the scenes” between the pair on The Project.
An alleged insider is said to have told the publication that Carrie was apparently “sitting back wondering why Lisa is paid so much”.
It’s been speculated Lisa snagged a $2.3 million deal with Network Ten, whereas Carrie is reportedly on a $500,000 salary.

Lisa commenced her presenting gig on The Project back in January this year, after a decade of hosting Channel Nine’s Today.
“I’ve loved it, I’ve absolutely loved it,” the television star told Be on Sunday night.
“It’s such a great team of journalists, both on camera and off camera and I’ve been so blessed to be able to do long form journalism, going overseas and just working with people I really admire.
“I feel like I’m learning a lot as well which at my age is not bad.”
In terms of the differences between her and Carrie’s role, Lisa said the most obvious aspect is the amount of screen time.
“Obviously she’s hosting four nights a week, I’m hosting two nights a weeks,” she said.
