It was her first Christmas with the royal family and Meghan Markle was sure to make an impression on the Queen.
The 36-year-old former Suits actress attended Sandringham church service with the royals on Christmas Day, where she was spotted making her first curtsy.
Meghan seemed to get on famously with the family and it seems that Prince Harry’s future wife’s presents were a hit as well.
A source has claimed that Meghan bought the Queen a toy singing hamster, which she gave to her dogs.
“Meghan bought a little hamster that sings with a little rope for Her Majesty,” the source told The Daily Star.
“It was so funny, especially when the corgis tried to take hold of the toy.
“She laughed and said ‘they can keep my dogs company!’”
Meghan Markle is set to marry Prince Harry on May 19th this year, just a few weeks after her future sister-in-law, Kate Middleton, is expected to give birth.
While it hasn’t yet been confirmed, it’s expected Meghan will become the Duchess of Sussex when she marries Harry.
However, now a petition has sprung up on Change.org, asking people to sign if they believe Meghan shouldn’t get a royal title or have a role in the royal family.
The petition, which already has 2,435 signatures, claims the former Suits actress isn’t fit to be in the royal family because she “has shown her disrespect for the Monarch and royal family by pulling faces and sticking her tongue out to the visitors during her first public appearance with the Queen”.
The starters are no doubt referring to Meghan’s appearance at Sandringham on Christmas Day.

As she inked arms with her future husband, Meghan was caught on camera sticking her tongue out at well-wishers.
It’s not clear why she made the gesture, but it’s thought she was joking with some of the kids in the crowd.
The petition goes on to say that she “shows her lack of respect towards Harry” for how she acted.
They then go on to say that should Harry want to continue his relationship with Meghan Markle, he should be allowed to relinquish his royal titles and move away.
“He has stated before that he didn’t want to be royal so maybe now this is his chance,” the petition states.
