Mum finds hilariously risqué note from eight-year-old daughter
A mum has shared a hilarious note she found left by her eight-year-old daughter.
Sophie Boyns was heading into her daughter Libbi’s room to say goodnight when she spotted the message scribbled on the young girl’s whiteboard.
Little Libbi had basically thanked her parents for having sex. And it’s left Sophie in hysterics.
“I love you Daddy and Mummy. Thank you for having sex so me and Oscar could come alive,” the message read.
Sophie and husband Mark, from Kent, had a good laugh about the note and even shared a snap with the rest of the family.
“I absolutely belted into fits of laughter,” 34-year-old Sophie told Metro.
“Oscar found it hilarious because it had the word ‘sex’ in it.”
The mum explained that Libbi wants to be a teacher when she grows up which is why she asked to have a whiteboard so she could practice.
Although most of the messages so far have been completely innocent ones like ‘I love you, Mummy,’ and ‘Goodnight, Daddy,’ and ‘Oscar smells’.
“We’ve always encouraged them to ask questions and we give them an adult answer.
“She’s very inquisitive and not afraid to speak her mind.”
Sophie says Libbi’s brother had gone up to year six and had been having sex education classes so he was coming home with questions. So she learned about it too.
