Tributes pour in after Kochie reveals emotional battle
There has been an outpouring of love on social media for Sunrise host David 'Kochie' Koch after the presenter shared his most personal battle yet on air.

In a touching montage filled with old movies showing happy memories of his dad, Kochie began to tear up when recounting a moment where his dad surprised him in a time of need.
"We'd had Sam, she was a little baby, and she had convulsions and had to go into hospital. A really hard time for us," he said, adding that at that time his father and the rest of his family had moved to San Francisco.
Kochie's eyes then begin to well-up with tears as he remembers how he was in the hospital with his baby daughter and he "turned around" to see his dad who had flown half-way across the world just to see him.
"He showed me how important the role of a dad is and what it means to be one," Kochie said.
"I adored him. He died a few years ago and that was one of the most devastating moment in my life."
After watching the heartwrenching story, a slew of fans took to social media to reach out to Kochie and let him know how much his story meant to them.
